Your Second Visit to Our Zionsville Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

We’ll make clinical recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health based on detailed study of your health history, examination and x-ray finding if included. We call this the Report of Findings.

We’ll spend about 15 minutes reviewing our findings with you and offering answers to important questions most patients have when they consult our office:

What’s wrong?
Is chiropractic the help I need?
How long will it take?
How much will it cost?
What if I don't do anything?

This is attended to on your second visit the following business day. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain emergency situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Whalen, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Dr. Gerald Asks some important questions of interest to Zionsville residents - Chiropractor Zionsville Dr. Gerald Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How could a child benefit from chiropractic?
Regardless of our age, each of us in Zionsville encounters physical, chemical and emotional stresses that exceed our ability to handle. For newborns, it could be the trauma encountered at birth. For toddlers it could be from learning to walk or ride a bike. Many of the problems we chiropractors see in adults are the result of neglected traumas from childhood.
